Debby Ryan was born on May 13, 1993 in Huntsville, Alabama. She grew up in Alabama until the age of seven where she then moved to Germany and started started doing professional theater. Three years later Debby moved back to the USA, where she took some time in thinking about how she wanted to be a actress as a job. She got a agent and got her first big break in a film called Barney lets go to the firehouse as a teenager who helps Barney and Friends. It wasent a big part but gaine Debby Regignition. After that she went on filming some small commericals such as I Dog Amp’t. Later she booked the small role of Edith in a film called The Longshots starring Nickelodeon’s Keke Palmer. Finally her agent contacting her about a new Disney show. Being a fan of the original series, Debby knew she wanted a part in it, so her agent sent in her resume and audition tape. Soon disney called Debby up for a script read with Cole & Dylan Sprouse. She eventually booked the role of Bailey Pickett! On The Suite Life on Deck. Filming began in april 2008 and aired on september 2008. The show instantly became a hit and is currently in its third season and has a movie called Two for the road being filmed September-October 2010. During the second season of the Suite life, Debby heard about a film called What If… Debby loved the script and despite being a big disney star she took a week away from suite life to play the role of Kimberly. What if released august 2010, Debby recieved much praise for her small role. During the summer of 2010 Debby got the role of Abby Jenson in a Marvix entertainment film 16 Wishes. The film aired on disney channel June 2010 and got good Reviews.

At the end of 2010 Debby wrapped up filming her final role as Bailey Pickett in The Suite life on Deck movie. Nearing the end of 2010 Debby also filmed her guest appearance on R.L Stine’s The Haunting Hour. In which she played a mean girl, showing off her acting talent even more.

It was annouced on March 16th 2011 At the 2011 Disney Channel upfront even, that Debby had landed the leading role in her own Disney Channel Series Jessie! Jessie is currently being filmed and is set for a fall 2011 release.

Debby plays many musical interuments, aucoustic guitar, Piano and electric guitar. Many of her music is influenced by her older brother Chris Ryan, a musician and song writter. Debby has showed interest in several types of music and her music genres are mainly jazz, country pop and indie with a blend of alternative rock.
