She admitted her daughters were embarrassed by her dancing – but Michelle Obama is not letting that put her off.

After showing off her dance moves at sports events across the country for her campaign against childhood obesity, the First Lady has added yet another routine to her repertoire – the ‘Platypus Walk’

Performing alongside a large, fluffy platypus named Perry, from Disney’s Phineas and Ferb TV show, Mrs Obama flapped her ‘wings’, wiggled and shuffled from left to right.

The First Lady tried out ‘the platypus’ today during a visit to Disney World’s ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Florida.

The event was to mark the second anniversary of her Let’s Move campaign.

Michelle Obama was joined yesterday by Disney actress Debby Ryan, choreographer Rosero McCoy, Perry the Platypus and professional athletes along with local children and their families as she finished up the three-day tour of Iowa, Texas, Arkansas and other parts of Florida.

Hello everybody!

So yesterday I posted about meeting Debby, now I am going to post the full story for you guys. I will try and make this as quick as I possibly can, so as not to bore you guys! But here it is.

I entered a contest on Facebook to meet Debby and view a private screening of Jessie ahead of the UK premiere of it. For a whole week I was checking the emails non-stop, until I finally got a call saying I had won! I was very shaky over this and super hyped up. We had to go to London to meet her, which unfortunately is 6 (Depending on traffic) hours away!

So the real Journey started on Saturday at 2:30am. I got up and got ready to go, we left by 3:30am and we were soon off to London! I was really nervous about meeting Debby and my head was spinning with questions I wanted to ask and things I wanted to talk to her about. Ed Sheeran helped calm my nerves for most of the 6 hours though. I also now officially know all the words to “You need me, I don’t need you” haha. (:

After a long journey we finally arrived at the Hotel were we would be meeting Debby. We were waiting in there for around 2 hours, but thankfully it was a big place and a bit of exploration was in order. We discovered many rooms with unique designs and also a cute basket full of baked treats. Finally we went downstairs to the screening room, were we got to watch the 2nd episode of Jessie, then pose questions to her. Only the winners got to ask the questions, so our friends just sat there for a bit while we did that. I was first called to ask my question and I was really nervous, but I got through it and Debby answered the question, we kind of went off topic to fanvideos when she mentioned Private Practice, but we got back on track with the question! Which was “What was your favorite character to play and why?” Hopefully I will find the video were she answers it soon to show y’all!

That was followed by everyone else asking their questions, though I was in a bit of a haze then and could not really pay attention to what they were asking, as I was very excited! Then we got to go down and get things signed by her, have a little chit chat and get our photos taken with her. When I walked up she gave me a big hug, which I was totally not expecting! But it was rad! (: I asked her to sign this notebook and my copy of 16 wishes, she also signed a picture of her from Jessie, and then we had a little question and talk thing. I talked about DebbyHQ for a bit and she thanked me for all the support. Unfortunately this was brief as there were others waiting. So I went back to my seat, when this had all finished we went outside and I was still in this surreal dream state.

My Mum’s BF said that he just saw Debby sitting down in the hotel cafe and I remembered I wanted to get a quick video for the site and that I had so much other stuff to tell her, so my friend convinced me to quickly go and ask her to record this video. I felt a bit rude, but Debby was so friendly and nice about it, she quickly recorded the message and we had another brief talk and hug (I know :O Exciting stuff!). I can honestly say Debby is one of the most raddest people ever! She was so genuine and she seemed genuinely happy to meet me! There was so much I wanted to talk to her about and still want too, but I was still in that haze and was a bit out of it to say the least! She thanked me again for all her support and so did her Mum, who was also super awesome! Her Mum also had a pretty cool accent, which I felt the need to mention to her. They thanked me again and I left with a very big smile.

All in all it was a really awesome day! I am so happy I finally got to meet Debby. I hope another time I will get to meet her again and that I will write down some of the stuff I want to say to her, so I don’t forget again! Haha (:
But yeah, It was amazing and worth the long drive and everything!

I want to thank Debby for being so awesome and a amazing person and inspiration! Keep being you Debbyp.s Come back to England soon. xo.

So… December 19th 2011.
It was 3 years ago that Destiny first opened this site on December 19th 2008. It has been a long and very exciting 3 years, through those 3 years the site has grown huge and is now one of the biggest Debby sites on the website, bringing you all the latest news, photos and more for the last 3 years. During these years everyone has been so supportive and nice and I have worked incredibly hard to make this one of the best sites for you, the fans, to visit! This is your site guys, its made by a fan, for you fans. Us Deboraliens! and because of you guys the site keeps on running. So I just wanted to say a huge thank you. Thank you guys for all the support you have given the site, for visiting it daily for the past 3 years, for following the site on twitter and for sticking with us all this time. Its been amazing and I can’t thank you guys enough for everything. I love running this site and hope to keep running it for a long time to come. So its confirmed Debby is guest starring on private practice as “Hailey”. She will be apart of a two hour special, here is the info below.

In the first hour or a special two-hour edition of ABC’s “Private Practice,” THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 17 (9:00-11:00 p.m., ET) — entitled “Who We Are” — the Seaside Wellness group stages an intervention for a defensive and volatile Amelia, who has resurfaced after disappearing on a 12-day drug binge with her boyfriend, Ryan. During the intervention, Amelia mercilessly attacks her friends one-by-one, and Addison, in particular, has trouble seeing her sister-in-law in her present condition. In the second hour, entitled “The Breaking Point,” Amelia makes the hard decision to enter a rehab facility, and finds strength in an 18 year-old girl, as they both go through the painful detox process. Meanwhile, Cooper’s strengthening bond with his son is tested by his allegiance to a patient in need, Pete and Violet’s marriage reaches a tipping point, and Addison collapses from her rigorous fertility treatments.

Hey Debby fans!

A new article on EOnline states that Debby will be appearing on Private Practice. This is Unconfirmed! But I thought I should post the article anyway.

“Shonda Rhimes must love making good girls go bad (i.e. Demi Lovato as a schizophrenic on Grey’s Anatomy), because another popular Disney starlet is heading to another one of her shows…Private Practice!
So who is it? And what fascinating storyline will have her sharing scenes with Amelia (Caterina Scorsone)?
Debby Ryan, the Suite Life on Deck star, is the one who’s in trouble…at least onscreen.
Ryan will play Hailey, an 18-year-old girl whom Amelia meets while in rehab. Say what? Yes, apparently our Amelia finds herself in rehab quite soon. The two ladies will cross paths during the two-hour Private Practice event on Nov. 17.
Fun fact of the day, Lovato’s troubled character on Grey’s Anatomy was also called Hailey. Maybe when Shonda thinks “troubled teen,” she thinks “Hailey.”

Hi Debby fans!

So, as we all know, Debby has been filming a new movie in Vancouver and a lot of rumors have circulated about what its called and what it is about, which Debby has confirmed a lot of what has been said is false.

But a new source has just released a article and a image which I believe is from the movie.

The movie is also called “Radio Rebel” aparently, as a co-star Debby has been tweeted, tweeted a fan saying it.

Anyway, I think this is mostly correct, so here is the important parts of the article involving the new film!

“Debby Ryan, increasingly becoming a go-to player for the Disney Channel, is toplining “Radio Rebel,” a MarVista Entertainment production that will air on the cabler in early 2012.

“Debby is a talented young actress who connects to a wide fan base because she’s genuine, relatable and aspirational all at once,” Disney Channels Worldwide entertainment prexy and chief creative officer Gary Marsh said. “Our viewers have followed her from ‘The Suite Life on Deck’ to ’16 Wishes,’ and we’re pleased to be working with her again.”

Based on the novel “Shrinking Violet” by Danielle Joseph, “Rebel” features Ryan as an ostensibly nondescript high school junior who is secretly the most popular radio DJ in Seattle. Sarena Parmar, Adam DiMarco, Atticus Mitchell and Merritt Patterson co-star.

Peter Howitt (“Sliding Doors”) is directing “Radio Rebel,” which completed principal photography in Vancouver of a script by Erik Patterson and Jessica Scott.

MarVista CEO Fernando Szew, prexy Michael D. Jacobs and exec veep of production Robyn Snyder are exec producing with Kim Arnott and Oliver De Caigny of co-producer Two for the Money Media. The film will also air on YTV, which acquired Canadian rights. Jane Goldenring (Goldenring Prods.), who sold the movie to Disney Channel, also exec produces.

“We are confident that ‘Radio Rebel’ features the same elements that made our first production a huge success including a tight, fast-paced and comedic script and an all-round talented cast, plus several original songs that will be sure to delight teens across the globe,” Szew said.”

The upcoming DCOM follows Tara Adams (Ryan) who is so painfully shy that she dreads speaking to anyone in the hallways or getting called on in class.
